Since we've recently shown a number of maple leaves, we thought to add in this depiction of a Sugar Maple leaf. The Sugar Maple is native to eastern Canada, there are only a few in our area, transplanted into gardens. People tap into the sap rising in these trees in spring and boil it to make delicious maple syrup. It's so good that it is honoured on our flag.
