This picture is of the Maligne Valley just north of Medicine Lake looking north. We had stopped to photograph a bear, but we did not have a good picture of her as the undergrowth as too thick. (We were using a long telephoto lens from our car, partly for safety and partly not to stress the bear) After the bear wandered away we made this landscape. Note our traditional poor vacation weather!
