These grasses were growing wildly in a nearby park. The colour in the background were flowers growing wildly, likely escaped cultivars. There are a huge number of grass species, but we're afraid that we don't have the knowledge to differentiate one from another. This grass was slightly over a metre tall. THe camera's shallow depth of field picks out just a few strands when the stand was at least a couple of metres thick. The camera was focused only about 30cm from the end of the lens and about a metre off the ground.
