Introducing Rupert

This is a picture of the newest member of our family. Although it is hard to make out his features through the falling snow, it captures his energy and constant desire to just have fun. Rupert is a Eurasier, although we call him a "Black Samoyed". The breed comes from Germany and was meant for family pets. Rupert is very good with children and people in general. He has thick, soft fur -- good for petting and good against the cold. He is particularly fond of roaping about in the snow.
