After a series of continuously wet days, the weather started to clear at the beginning of a long weekend. Rather than show very contrasty pictures of landscapes in full sumlight, this picture was made before the clouds were burnt off. The bunchberry plant seen here was growing on a north facing rock cliff under some taller plants that perhaps were Labrador Tea. Just below the cliff was a bog, which provided the water for the tall plants, but the bunchberry had to make do with what little water the cliff provided.
