Bracken Fern

This image of Bracken Fern is from Campbell River Valley park near Vancouver Canada. The fern is deciduous, the fronds are abandoned by the plant in the fall and regrow each spring.  The Bracken Fern is the most common fern worldwide. This picture was made in the late fall so these fronds changed colour as photosynthesis had shut down.  As you can see, the dew was heavy on the day this picture was made.
