Mt. Cheops from Abbott Ridge

Here is yet another photograph from Glacier National Park, Canada.  It's from one of our favourite hikes -- the Abbott Ridge trail.

We were pleasantly surprised by this image.  We had bought a new lens - a 12-24mm Nikkor - and this was one of the first images we made with it. It's not often that one finds a scene good enough for such a wide-angle lens, but the detail captured in this image convinces us that we should bring this lens along more often.
