While on a business trip to South Africa there was an opportunity to have a weekend at a lodge in Madikwe Game Reserve. The reserve is a large park on the border to Botswana close to Gaborone. This young male lion is having a close look over a river probably checking to see if the Lodge's vehicle (where the camera was located) is out of the way of his passage over a bridge.
