Vine Maples

This image of Vine Maples is from Campbell River Park, in the south-eastern part of Greater Vancouver.  This Maple grows quite well around our area, although it does give way to the larger and taller Cedar, Fir, Hemlock and even Cottonwood trees.  In this image, the trees are all leaning to the right.  There is a thicker, dark coniferous forest just to the left and the Maples are growing towards an area of better light.  I was a foggy day, as you can see by the forest in the background.
