Signal mountain lies just east of the village of Jasper in Jasper National Park. While we do enjoy hiking, it was raining that day so we relaxed a little in town. We photographed this scene from the comfort of the balcony of a rooftop restaurant during dinner. We happened to have a long lens with us when the sun broke through a hole in the clouds to spotlight the mountain.
