From a recent trip to Germany we bring you this serene mountain scene, just an hours drive south of Munich and a 10 min. gondola trip up to the Brauneck from Lenggries. The broad peak in the distance is the Benedikten Wand. In summer the alpine meadows in Bavaria have been used for centuries as pasture for cattle and sheep, but in the wintertime the Brauneck transforms into a popular ski area.
