A portion of the Cascade Mountains are only about an hour's drive from our home. Occasionally ascending these mountains means passing through cloud layers and witnessing a rapidly transforming landscape. This particular view was only there for minutes as a hole in a cloud bank passing around our location allowed a view to the east. It only happened one time that day.
