Snowy Owls are occasionally sighted around our home area of Vancouver, Canada. We had a pair stay in a vacant lot across the street from our house. However this particular owlet was photographed in Germany, at the Falkenhof am Jaudenhang in Lenggries, Obb. The owlet's name is "Hedwig" and more photographs are available at the Falkenhof's website.
