Mount Douglas Park is in the north-east part of greater Victoria. The park's geography ranges from the shoreline to the top of a (small) mountain. This image was made close to the summit, showing the Garry Oak ecosystem that's unique to the south Vancouver Island area. In the far background is the farm and suburban region of the Saanich pennisula. In the foreground are Blue Camus and (with the yellow flowers) Scottish Broom.
