In a previous picture we showed a "garden variety" Trillium and explained that there is a native variety that grows in our area. Well here is a photograph of our native Trillium. This particular plant was found in Campbell River Valley Park, southwest of Vancouver and close to the U.S. border. The plant was growing in a shady spot in a forest of Vine Maples.
