A pleasant but short trail on Cypress Mountain, the westernmost of Vancouver's North Shore mountains, takes visitors on a tour of the alpine forest and wetlands. This trail goes past the shallow Yew Lake pictured above. The lake is actually a series of ponds that are connected into one continuous waterway. This trail is a pleasant start on the far more demanding trail to the "Lions", twin peaks that are a signature feature of the Vancouver skyline.
