We have some other Snow Geese photographs in our galleries, but these birds are only in our area for a short few weeks twice a year in their migration. This time we were able to photograph them on the water fairly close to our camera. Hunters were forcing the birds away from the ocean shoreline and into the protected waters of a bird sanctuary and Cormorants working at one end of this waterway kept them close to us. Strange that they didn't seem to like it when other birds dive below the surface of the water.
