Liumchen Ridge is one of our favourite destinations, and even inclement weather won't deter us. Three weeks ago the approach road was still under snow and impassable, but the flower season on the ridge must have already started much earlier, since the Glacier Lilies are now already gone, and the flora is well into it's main summer stage. Here we see the American Bistort Polygonum bistortoides. The fog made for nice even light, and despite occasional sleet we had a wonderful time on the mountain.
