Southern Kluane Mountain Range

This image from the Klane Range was made from near the Alaska Highway just north of Haines Junction in the Yukon. There is an information stop at this area with a little forest loop walk and signage explaining the problem that the Spruce Beetle is causing to the conferous forests in the Yukon and Northern British Columbia. The Kluane Range is west, across a broad valley, from this spot. The range itself is several hundreds of kilometres in length, just east of the St. Elias range.
