This is a view of the Lightning Lakes area of Manning Provincial Park from the Alpine Road Lookout. The north end of Lightning is the body of water at the bottom of the image. There are excellent park facilities: a day-use area for picnicing and a large campground. The bright strip on the right side of the lake is a beach close to the campground. The lake continues up the valley behind the rise on the lower left. There are a series of four lakes in that valley, you can just see Flah Lake above the raidge. Rising behind the lake is a long ridge leading to Lone Goat Mountain at the upper right. On the left is Lone Mountain with Hozomeen Mountain in the far background.
