We visited the top of Mt. Cheam in the early fall, the temperture was unusually hot but the air was exceptionally clear. From the top we were able to see over a hundred kilometres in all directions. These mountains were considerably closer, probably about 25km, but they were taken with a long telephoto lens (about 12 times magnification). These are just a few of the tall peaks of the Cascade Mountains along the Canada-U.S. border.
