We returned to one of our favourite places early in the summer. The road leading to this place is a decommissioned logging road, so a late snow blocked our arrival in the spring. This snow also blocked us from reaching the ridge itself, but we were able to make many photographs of the wildflowers in the alpine meadows. We remarked to ourselves on how many Canadians have not touched snow in the fall, winter and spring only to walk on it in the summer. This photograph was made from the same place as a previous photograph, but the camera is pointed a little further to the east.
