McDonald River Valley

Previous photograph Back to the gallery page Next photograph

This photograph was made in northern British Columbia from the Alaska highway. Heading towards the Yukon, this area is just west of Summit Lake Provincial Park, several kilometres before reaching Muncho Lake. The river on the south and impassable cliffs on the north forces the wildlife in the area to a narrow corridor where they are easily viewed from the highway. Our photograph of a stone sheep was made nearly at the western end of this corridor, this photograph is from the eastern end.
