Feeding a Sandhill Crane Chick

Previous photograph Back to the gallery page Next photograph

We love watching the Sandhill Cranes at the Reifel Bird Sanctuary. This is the third year in a row that they are raising their chicks in the park. The adults feed their young with worms and insects which the now about one month old chick eagerly takes from its parents beak.
