Duckling Group

Every spring we look forward to photographing the new hatchlings at the Rieffel Bird Sanctuary. The weekend that we happened to visit had rain showers through the day so fewer human visitors were around. The ducklings, already habituated to handouts of grain, were looking to use for a tasty diversion from the regular grass. They are pictured here at the end of a short duck path from the water to the human's path we were on. They received a small handful as a modeling fee.

A high resolution (3008 by 1960) view of this image is available here. This is the resolution we use for prints up to 11" by 14" and ink-jet prints to 12" by 18". We use an even higher resolution for Light-Jet prints, see the previous image.
