Every spring we look forward to photographing the new hatchlings at the Rieffel Bird Sanctuary. The weekend that we happened to visit had rain showers through the day so fewer human visitors were around. The ducklings, already habituated to handouts of grain, were looking to use for a tasty diversion from the regular grass. They are pictured here at the end of a short duck path from the water to the human's path we were on. They received a small handful as a modeling fee.
