Bald Eagle, Squamish River

Previous photograph Back to the gallery page Next photograph

Starting in November there is a run of Coho Salmon up the Squamish River. This attracts many eagles to the area, which in turn attracts many photographers! The weather was poor so we missed the height of the run, however there were still a few dozen eagles and were able to catch this bird in flight on his way to the edge of the river.
