Sandhill Crane, Wings Outstretched

Regulars to our website know that the Reiffel Bird Sanctuary is a frequent destination for us. As a result, we have been able to see a couple of Sandhill Crane raise their chick. Even though the chick is an adult, she stays with the parents. Although all three are strong flyers, they don't venture too far from the santuary.
