This is the second photograph on this site titled "backlit leaf". During a visit to the Van Dusen Garden, we captured this image of a large leaf of a water plant. What we know know is the name of plant! The picture you see here is a little unusual, the veins were actually on the other side of the leaf, the leaf was turned sideways and the sun was shining on its bottom. The light you see here is what has come through the leaf.
